A 2 Day One-on-One Crash Course in Cooking / Cheffing
Ever wanted a fully immersive and rare one-on-one cheffing and cookery experience?
Not with a group of strangers, but your very own fully bespoke experience, to learn and see everything you want to in the restaurant world, from cooking to service.
This will make the most perfect gift
It’s a 2-day crash course where you let me know exactly
what you’d love to learn, and we’ll sort it!
Want to learn how to prep a lobster?
Or butcher your own beef?
It can be as simple or as hardcore as you like.
For example, you could a day on the road getting the fish, breaking it down, and cooking it, followed by pints after with me and the chefs.
Or, you can choose the beef, butcher it, and learn any techniques you’d like to know.
And remember, you get to build this course – we’ll meet up and create your experience.
You can go all-in with some hardcore cooking,
learning how to perfect the recipes you’ve always
wanted to whip up at home.
Or we can simply fine-tune a few cooking blind spots
you may have, maybe a few sauces or seafood dishes you’d like to learn, or a BBQ.
Whatever you like, it’s your course!
Day 2 is a day in the life of a chef, doing a section and experiencing the thrill and adrenaline rush of the service in
You’ll shadow me and Peter, help set up and run a section,
help on the pass plating up dishes and learning the lingo.
Pints and dinner after… with a big grin on your face.
Trust me… You’ll need the pints!!
As I’ll be stuck with you for 2 days I must insist on No weirdos.
Okay, maybe a little bit weird is okay, required even 🙂
The loose itinerary is…
Day One (Tuesday, Little Mike’s)
The plan is to spend the whole day in the kitchen, sharpening your skillset or learning new things. Whatever you want to learn, this is the day to do it. You can even decide on a dish you can serve in Big Mike’s the next day, if you like.
Day Two (Wednesday)
Spend the day on the road, sourcing beef from the butcher and crab from the fishermen, before heading to prep in Big Mike’s and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the pass. No stress, just the thrill, with great guidance.
Afterwards, you’ll have a lovely meal in Big Mike’s to celebrate.
You’ll also get a bespoke knife, a barred t-shirt and a booklet of the dishes you learnt on the course and a personalised signed cookbook.
Sounds like it’s going to be expensive right?
It is, but it’s fully inclusive.
